My name is Theresa Taylor Grutzeck. I have been a professional make-up artist and skin care specialist for over 25 years. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 18 years old.  I enrolled in a famous beauty school, Yamano Beauty College. After graduating,  I worked with many great beauty designers like, Jose Eber and Jerry Munchwiler of Beverly Hills.   As a make-up artist I worked with many celebrities. I did print work with national magazines and worked on many movies.

I moved to Northern California in 1985 and I worked inside a salon in Blackhawk, California as a make-up artist and skin care specialist.  For 6 years I also worked for KTVU applying make-up for the 49ers (The Men). That was Fun!!

In 2003, I opened my own beauty boutique in Danville, California called,” The Rouge Kiss and Make-up”. The beauty boutique is very unique.  We have our own skin care line, “Ongrien Advanced Scientific Skin Care” and we carry the wonderful collection of “Fleur Visage Cosmetics”.
I also write for a popular bay area magazine, “Alive”. I have been the beauty editor for the past 2 years. I love researching skin care and finding new treatments in anti-aging.  Make-up is always changing, so I keep up with the trends constantly updating, going to beauty and skin care shows and traveling to Europe for the latest fashion styles.

Beauty Mission

My mission is to enlighten and help women discover the real secrets of beauty. I vow to reseach the latest technologies and techniques in make-up to give you the most up to date information. There is just so much information out there on this subject and can be so confusing.  So I am here to set the record straight. With my knowledge and understanding of skin care and make-up I hope you will enjoy all the secrets that I have to share with you.

I love the beauty industry, it is so much fun and it is so exciting to see it constantly changing. I love the challenges and the women I see everyday.  I am looking forward to your questions and your comments in the future.
